Terms of Service

1. The Service

PPT Canvas is an AI-assisted presentation platform: it generates, edits, previews and exports decks (PPTX, PDF, images, HTML and other formats) based on your instructions and materials.

2. Accounts

You access the service through an OAuth-supported account (Google, GitHub or Microsoft). You are responsible for safeguarding access to that account and for activity under it. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the service.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to comply with our Acceptable Use Policy, which individually lists the categories of prohibited content and how we enforce them. In particular, you agree not to:

• use the service to create unlawful, infringing, defamatory or harmful content;
• generate content impersonating others or misrepresenting AI output as human authorship where disclosure is required;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, overload or gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure;
• resell, sublicense or commercially redistribute access to the service without our written consent;
• circumvent usage limits, quotas or paid features.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of materials you upload and presentations you create. You grant us a limited, worldwide license to store, process, reproduce and display your content solely to operate and improve the service (including AI generation). You are responsible for having the rights to the materials you upload.

5. AI-Generated Output

Output generated by AI models may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your purpose. You should review AI-generated presentations before use. We do not guarantee that output is unique, and similar prompts may produce similar results for other users.

6. Third-Party Services and Advertising

The service relies on third-party providers (hosting, authentication, AI models, storage) and may display third-party advertising. Ad delivery is subject to our Privacy Policy; we are not responsible for the content of ads or external sites you reach through them.

7. Intellectual Property

The service itself — including software, design, branding and content we provide — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or USD 50.

10. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law. Upon termination, the license you granted to us survives only as needed to delete or retain data per our Privacy Policy.

11. Billing, Auto-Renewal & Cancellation

Paid plans are offered on a monthly or annual subscription basis. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annual, as selected at purchase) until cancelled. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting support; cancellation stops all future charges, and your paid features remain available until the end of the current billing period. Cancelling a subscription does not entitle you to a refund of fees already paid for the current cycle.

• Subscriptions: billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis; auto-renews until cancelled.
• One-time credit packs: purchased once, credits are added to your account immediately and consumed per use. Credit packs do not auto-renew.

Refund policy: Except where required by applicable law, all payments are final and non-refundable. Refunds are considered only for duplicate charges or verified technical failures that prevented use of the service — requests must be submitted to support within 14 days of the charge. Unused credit packs may be refunded at our discretion within 14 days of purchase, provided none of the credits have been consumed. If you cancel a subscription, it remains active until the end of the paid billing period and will not renew.

12. AI Models and Services

The AI generation features of the service are powered by the third-party models below, together with the source we access them from. This list updates automatically with the deployed configuration; material changes are reflected on this page.

• Text generation (outlines, rewriting, AI-Native decks): qwen-plus, accessed via Alibaba Cloud DashScope (dashscope.aliyuncs.com).
• Image generation (slide illustrations): OpenAI GPT Image (gpt-image-2), accessed via api.mikoto.vip.

Model output is also subject to the providers’ own safety and usage policies; see our Acceptable Use Policy for the content rules we enforce.

13. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the service or these Terms. Material changes to the Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
